i felt the vibrations of an impact,
shattering glass,
fragments of life.
i felt us spiraling out of control,
spinning, spinning, spinning.
i slowly opened my eyes to reality,
back from dreams.
it was dark-
a dark that would turn a cat’s stomach turn upside down.
i felt a jolt again,
and heard a noise in the distance,
coming closer, shrill in the darkness.
i was trapped-
caught in oblivion.
i felt my limbs disappearing one by one,
loosing sensation,
my toes, my legs, my arms.
i slowly shut my eyes, saying goodbye
to the world for
the last time.
