100 miles down that old dusty road
Walking, alone and forgotten
A single small toad
Hopping across the road
Not stopping to say hello
Hearing the repetitive crunch of the gravel under you’re feet
Not sure of where you’re heading
Not sure of where you’ll end up
Not sure of anything
Emotionally lost in a hurricane of thought
You know you’re running away
Running away from something you hate
But you don’t know what
And you fear the truth
The truth that’s deep inside of you
The truth you are scared to find
You don’t want to know
So you just keep walking
Keep walking along that old

I'm not really sure why I wrote this, there is always a reason when I write something but I just haven;t figured it out yet.
