Vast
Deep

Anger against those
Who dare incite me in my own halls
Those who dare mock me
Spite me
In the lands that are mine

Try to sap my spirit
And steal the light from my eyes

That the flame will consume them

For a dance among the stars


And in the blaze of storms
My eyes
Like ice
Will strike them
With fear
They will turn cold

And I scream
Scream so
That the bowels of the sea shudder
And the gods on high cover their ears
A scream of pain
Of fury
Of promises broken
Of lands lost
Of death
Of loss
Of grief




A leap
And we do that deadly dance
Of myth
Fire
And sword
So that the stones glow white

And the cry of a hawk
Cleaves the deathly silence
