The Lost

Mind becomes clear
Realized my worst fear
Was losing you,
Expecting no future rescue
Hope slowly dies
Tears alive
When memories revive.
You, God queues
And away you flew
In the night sky
Without a final goodbye.
Moving on I try
Inside I die.
In pain I scream
Pray it was just a dream
When I wake
I continue to ache.
I find it’s true
This, I can’t undo.
I know this is the end,
Until we meet again.
