What Do You Do...

What do you do if you're getting chased,
By someone you don't know.
Do you stay or do you go ?

I'm in my house,
Just sitting down.
I'm waiting for a friend.
I hear a knock, I open the door with a frown.

It's a man with sunglasses,
They cover his face.
I do not know him, but he knows me.
My heart starts to race.

He asks to come in,
But I say no.
He comes in any way.
It scares me so.

He goes to give me a hug.
I push him away and run.
He says" Please don't go!"
There's a smile on his face, he's having fun.

I'm running fast,losing my breathe.
I don't see him in sight.
I'm glad that I ran.
Glad that I put up a fight.

I am down the street.
I'm happy, I did not get beat.
But then I look down.
I'm tripping on my own two feet.

I fall down, hard.
That's when he comes into view.
He starts laughing,
and I don't know what to do.

I open my eyes,
And things are not what they seem.
I finally figure it out.
It was only just a dream.
