Bug and Bird

There are many stories
everyone has heard.
They say they are like
a bug and a bird.
The bird towers over
the tiny little bug.
The bug tries to bite him,
but the bird just shrugs.
The bird has a beak
and powerful sharp claws,
and soon the little bug
is trapped in his jaws.
The bird slowly takes
the bug's life away.
Now the bird can live
to fight another day.
Well, you are the bird,
and you'll be alone
because I am the bug,
and I'm finally gone.
