Poetic Lyricist
Im a poetic lyricist
my words are like a drug for you im a pharmacists
likewise, we could make free speech of this
pass the blunt of wise words this is what you hit
read the words off the paper of this poetic skit
I try and do my best to never settle for less
are my words for him really true lets take a second guess
every time I speak my words twist and tangle
and I start callin shouts out from every single angle
im caged in my mind, safe thoughts you’ll never find
hoping to always stay on my grind
but somehow he’s always on my mind
how could I ever be so kind
as to cherish, nurture and love someone so lovely and divine
but im not sure by the way you handle things you’ll be fine
even though I truly wish you could be mine
life’s so crazy, it’d make you sane
saying that could never take away the pain
just by knowing that, this trust you’ll never gain
