the truth about life

A lost category, a unknown subject

But still, you may seek to find

That the truth about life

Is buried deep inside

Each spirit that lives

Each passing day that begins

The darkness of the night

The daybreak of distant light

Each tide and wave

That soaks our fear

That we devour to feel

We are a shadow, a figure

A face, a name, a date

We are history

That is remembered

We are the future unfolding

Only to be forgotten

We are a overpopulated species

Lifting the weight of the world

Only to let it crash down

Upon us all...

We search for:

A path, a road, a belief

A reason to live

A story to be told

A life fully lived

A passion that we embrace

A angel to make us safe

A truth to give us faith

We die for:

A country, a religion, a future

lost love that fades with time

Sacrifice for our dearest lives

For the future to be better

Pain, tears, fear,

That hold us back from our aspirations

We become scared that we ourselves

won't fit into reality's fashions

Bloodstained...

as history repeats itself

We ask questions

When the answers

Are right in front of our own eyes

Perhaps it takes a leader

To teach others, what to find
