you said
I will not
I will not hold your hand under the table
I will not hug you inside my coat
I will not kiss you goodbye
I will not wake up each morning
to your hair in my face
I will not hold your waist
while we wait in line
I will not slow dance with you
at anyone's wedding
especially ours
I will not save you a seat
or smooth your hair off your forehead
while you sleep
I will not miss you
(but you did)
