Favorite Quote:
Be the change you want to see in the world.

ten thousand years

vibrant red roses,
drops of dew
sprinkles the petals.

crackle of thunder
follows
flashes white lightning.

early birds singing
from their perches
high up in the trees

mountains in the distance
silhouetted by the rising sun
mirrored by placid lake.

a black cloaked sky
sprinkled with
twinkling
diamonds.

the mid august sun
hugs and kisses
loved ones.
music and gumdrops, full bubbling laughter and lemonade on ice with the little umbrella; the way you smile, you look at me, singing into my hairbrush and dancing in my pajamas; living, learning, keeping it real.

the Friends I have
the Places I’ve gone
the People I’ve met
the Memories I have

Ten
Thousand
Years.

Just remember to slow down. When you do, you live ten thousand years in one day. Cherish the little joys, keep it real.
