I am from surfboards and wax
Board shorts, bikinis, and flip-flops
A place where sunglasses are a must

I am from the translucent morning fog
The crisp clean air
And the salty sea breeze when dusk begins to fall

I am from tan baby grains of rock
Which exfoliate my toes when I dig them deep
and lay perfectly under towels so cheap

I am from lunch under the sun
Messy French braids
And early morning runs

I am from sand castles and shovels
A sanctuary where sticks are used for writing
I'm from a place where there are no troubles

This is FANTASTIC!!!  I'm really not quite sure what to say...just that it's amazing.  I love the beach, so maybe that's why, but life is always so free and easy there...PERFECTLY written!!!
