A room replete with gay faces
Dissolved into two
Hearts begin to vibrate
Emotions generated
The force field was drawing us closer
Like magnets
My eyes met the starlight sparkles of hers
Second guesses took a voyage in my mind
Should I
Is this a mistake
Will she love me back
Then the thoughts and the voice of doubt shattered like a cymbal
With one wet kiss
On the face
The gentle nudge of her paw
The brown fluffy ears confirmed
In my heart
I have now found
A lifetime friend
