Waiting
Waiting for a bus or train,
Is never really quite the same,
As when you are waiting in the rain.
The rain is falling on this particular day,
Especially hard I’m afraid to say,
On a group of people waiting for the train.
The train rolls in,
Making quite a din,
and the passengers push on their way in.
The train starts to roll,
And the passengers pay their toll,
But little did they know…
One did not make it.
He is to late,
And cannot avoid his fate,
At this rate.
He screams and yells,
But no one tells,
The driver to stop the train.
And he fell off,
And although they may scoff,
He was never seen again.
