The boy
He look’s scared,
eye’s wide,
chin dropped,
mouth open. . .
He turned and saw a nightmare,
standing before him.
The boy took off like a lighting strike,
the nightmare followed him,
same speed, just as fast.
Still running the boy is sweating,
breathing so hard he can’t hear his own thoughts,
he turned his head, saw the nightmare following him,
the nightmare growls as he is still chasing him.
Can’t run any faster, the boy jumped into trees,
hearing the nightmare coming up, he cries,
the nightmare herd him crying and ran in that direction,
the boy didn’t see the nightmare coming,
the nightmare licks the boy,
the boy realized the nightmare was his dog Jackson.
