Leaving Dreamland
My dreams
Are never what they seem;
Hidden meanings;
Sanity is fleeting.
But within my dreams,
I can see
Clearer than ever;
I can see past forever.
I've been stuck in my dreamland
For so long,
That I'm no longer strong,
Nor do I belong in a world so grand.
In my dreams,
I can be
Anything;
I can know
Everything,
But now I have to go.
I don't want to leave;
This world is my home,
But I suppose it's what I need;
I've learned everything there is to be known.
What remains to be seen
Is who I will become the next day
When I leave this land,
So take me by the hand,
And show me the way.
