You gave me a red rose,
Which wasn't much;
You gave me some hope
And made me feel loved.
You made me feel in heaven
Gazing in your eyes,
Got me daydreaming
Miles high.
The melting sweet chocolate,
Covering the cherries
Sitting on a plate
Next to the rose you gave me...
We laugh and laugh till tears come Out, then suddenly I "snap",...
Turn and see,
Not a red rose around.
