"No matter what the weather always bring your own sunshine"

My fear and nerves within keeps me here-
Here where mortals live
But I breakdown and cannot forgive-
These thoughts that bring me tears

In spite of joy, sorrow conquers all-
Today and every other
I can’t be crazy, many another-
Must have the thoughts of a curtain call

Awake for nightfall, sleep through the days
An unchanging cycle that goes by
In this world that is so dark and grey
I wish to say my final goodbye

Apathetic to this world and life combined-
My mind leads me blind
The day has come; I’m in that state of mind-
To leave this world behind

I believe that no matter who you are we all leave footprints on this Earth

Touching poem the emotions were very real; raw. Good job

"I think the only reason people hold on to memories so tightly is because memories are the only things that don't change, when everything and everyone else does."

Wow, this is beautifully written. I love the whole theme of this poem, even though it's very sad. Your stanzas are perfect, and they all flow really well. I especially love the last line. Very well done. (:
