Do what you like and like what you do.

I am standing alone
The black ground
Contrasts with my pale flesh
Surrounding me
Reigns darkness
As if I was dreaming
But suddenly awoke
To yet another nightmare
Am I providing the only light?
Only difference?
Or am I wrapped
In a Black Veil
Blinding me from beauty?

Up is down
Down is up
I am spinning hysterically
I reach out for help
To my disappointment
I only cut speckles
In the dry cloth
Still spinning
My speckles pass as pin stripes

I fall into
Bristly cold grass
Engulfed in droplets
Flat on my back
I see my speckles in the crape
They drip out patterns
Caused by my flailing

It’s still dark
I’m nearly blind
But the speckles’ blood
Is traced in silvery mesh
Everything I see floats
While I’m stuck
To the itchy hair
Behind the blanket

Time flies
On the wings of a raven
Stalking its domain
Color creeps into my sight
Light emerges
Noises come and go
Where am I?
Have I awoken?
This beauty is unworldly

Exhale
Inhale
I am really here
I resign
To the song of morning
