My Tone

I play my song
Of life with love
A soft melody
To make you sing

My friends are the strands
And I'm the guitar
Together we're complete
at the top is where we meet

We are all strung together
And only when tuned we are true
Even though there are some troubles
A little tuning will get us through

There rough times,
And high pitched peaks
But those bolder strings
Will set us free

I was looking through the pictures to accompany my poem, and saw the guitar photo. It evoked me to think of my life as the neck of the guitar and my friends as the strings.
