Favorite Quote:
Under all speech that is good for anything there lies a silence that is better. Silence is deep as Eternity; speech is shallow as Time.
-Thomas Carlyle

Sing secret whispers,
As they slip past your ear.
Into silence they sink,
For they are just words
Writen on silver air.

Breaths slice my breathing,
Sucking out my song.
All i can do is but not sing along.

My voice is nothing in the crowd.
They shout and shriek as I speak no sound.
Relying on only the silent wind,
Supplying my secret air,
To sing my own song.

This one was a Creative Writing homework assignment. The teacher said it was one of my best. Let me know what you think. :)
