Never Forget This
The constant replay in her head
It won’t stop—make it stop
He keeps haunting her
The images start to slowly fade
But they still come constantly..
Why can’t she think of something else?
He wasn’t that big of a part of her life
She likes to tell herself
You caused more damage than love.
Here they come again like a tornado
Sweeping away her happiness;
She hates you—never forget that.
The pain you inflected on her life is unforgettable
The way he prances around like nothing ever happened
The constant battle inside to try and forget you
It never stops—no matter how hard she tries
Endless “what ifs” always cross her mind
Seeing you makes everything worse-leave her alone
Just remember—She hates you.
