Thoughts Unheard

Maybe one day I’ll tell you
And you’ll feel the same way
Maybe the sky will turn green
And with you I’ll run away

Maybe I won’t be in silence
And my words will be free
No taxes or payments
I’ll be here to be me

Maybe you’ll live up
To all those promises you made
When I leave you forever
My heart will not fade

But for now I know
That maybe is just a word
And I’ll feel this way until
My thoughts are no longer unheard
