The rain poured its tears on me like a sorrowful child, lost with no mother

No other

Person to love her but me

So i share my love hoping to get some in return

But no one taught her how to love

Someone back

I'm sitting here just waiting to be loved

I'm no diffrent from her

She doesn't know how to give love

I don't know how to recieve it

She curls up in my arms, seeking

My warmth,My protection,My love

She doesn't know why she cries everyday

All she knows is "Momma went away"

She keeps telling me

And she doesn't believe i'm here to stay

She doesn't let go of me

Scared to be alone

When she's in my arms she calls it home

As she sleeps softly i play her favorite song

When asleep she calls names of the people that did her wrong

"Mommy,Daddy" she says

As she lays in her bed

I hold her,now sound asleep

Held her in my arms 'till she was nine

I ask myself everyday

Is she mine?

I wish she called me mom but she just holds me tight

I try to pull away, but leaving love is no fair fight

Little did i know as she grew older

As i nurtered her in my arms

She would call me hope

"We both share the love Momma" she says

"Hope to,cuz before you i didn't know when my search would end."
