Confusion
My confusion spread beneath me like the nets that trap these fish
it leaves me sputtering and gasping with one only maddening wish
to get untangled from it’s ropes and wire that bound me in despair
blinded from the chaos around me
which it knew I couldn’t bare,
and is there no end to this confusion?
with it’s sharp wires and thick ropes,
cutting and scraping at my senses
while fencing out my dying hopes
failures and dreams
which it sneers at and provokes
while preventing my jump back into my sea
of initiative expression
of certainty and identification
of exposure to hell and harmony
instead I descend into it’s depths of isolation
into it’s depths of misunderstanding and anonymity
and I remain cast off from this world in rage and desperation
awaiting
someone
anyone
something
anything
to cut off the wires and ropes
to set me free
