Rainbow

I’m a rainbow
each color is a personality
Sometimes only half
my rainbow shows
and I hide the rest behind
a dark cloud
My colors shine like the sun
or turn black as coal and I
want to go hide in a hole
Around my friends all my colors show
but most of the time the dark cloud is
my best friend helping me hide my
true self from others
I wish I could show more
people all my colors

I like this line. I can relate to it. Some days I feel like I can't be myself around some people. If you used more similes to show how you feel then this poem would be great.
