In The Mirror
I’ve heard people say I’m beautiful
And I like the way I look
But do I see
Different things about me
Than someone who loves me would
I can’t look at myself
Except through a mirror
And all I see is a face
Switched starring back at me
When I look at myself
I don’t fall in love that would be weird
I try to imagine if someone else
Would think that my face
Was more round
Or more skinny than I see
In the mirror
What stares back at me
Might not be
To someone what they see
What stares at them
Might not be
What stares back at me.
