Breathe Me
Don't leave me Don't leave me
I know my love is not enough
But I will save you I will save you
Just breathe me Just breathe me
Take my breath, I don't need it
I'll survive I'll survive
Did I leave you Did I leave you
I'm telling you I never will
I swear it's true I swear it's true
I feel like I'm dying I feel like I'm dying
But with you darling
I'm alive I'm alive

I wrote this at a time where I came close to losing two of the most important people in my life. My best friend who suffered severe Ulcerative Colitis and came close to death multiple times. And my grandpa, who struggles with many physical and mental health issues. In my poem, I offer to give my own breath to save them even though all my love and prayers could do nothing and it wasn't as simple as donating an organ or anything like that. More than breath, I meant my moral support and long talks through the night. In the end, I think this really was the help I managed to give.
