Gasping gasping crying
Sinking sinking dying
Shattered pieces where they lay
Pieces of my waking day
The sun shines, but it burns my eyes
Blind to future pain and lies
Goodbye to a dream now silenced quite
Left behind in a silver night
Dancing flames that lick my wrist
Remind me of the scars you kissed
I'm burning now
Don't put me out
My fire fueled
By sweet sweet doubt
Beauty is what beauty wants
And desire is simply who it taunts
A lock and key
A dance, you see
Lying between
Some chaos and serenity
