I Want Amnesia
I dont want to remember your kiss.
The way it softened my lips.
I want to forget that spark,
like lightening in the dark.
And I want to lose that picture of your eyes;
that when you looked at me every mean thing dies.
But then I wonder what if
we jump off that cliff,
so that every mean feeling inside
commits suicide?
But then I remember the scars,
racing angry cars.
Every hit, every slap.
And then I say no,
I cannot love you so
to forget
all the bad memories and debt.
Yes.
I want amnesia.
