I start long and flat,
like a capital letter.
with only a message
of strength and hope.
Totally useless,
until I am shaved to a point.
I create wonderful things,
before I grow dull again.
Sharpened until my meaning
is no more than cut off words.
I am no longer tall,
but lowercase and hard to grip.
So I am thrown away
for another.
