I have had an everlasting dream,
It has swallowed my mind,
It has been engulfed by experience.
Children, teenagers, and adults,
Each generation has inspired my dream.

Life has a way of leading us down roads
that we may never understand,
but each and every individual creates
the passageway to their future.

I have felt regret,
I have felt the salty tears run down my face,
I have felt the heart wrench of losing a best friend.
I have felt, and I have lived,
I will fly up to the moon and back,
Anything to achieve my everlasting dream.

High school, college, graduating.
Where will we end up?
Standing in a, lifeless, empty room,
With innocent faces just gawking back at me.
I will touch the hearts of each and every child.
I want to be the person to inspire them to never give up.
I want to be the greatest Special Education teacher ever.

Dreams and goals,
Inspiration and imagination.
Pushing and shoving to get to the finish line.
Receiving that golden, polished medal, knowing you have won,
Taking risks, reaching limits, and soaring towards your dreams,
I know I can get here.

Life is impossible to figure out,
Everyone has his or her own definition.
Everyone has their own hopes, dreams, and paths.
There are no rules, no handbooks,
And no signs to tell you the right way.
Life is a mystery,
But we all have the power to figure it out.
