slipping away from responsibility is so
easy
a quick flick of the tongue
of the foot
and out the door
one key turn
one engine hurl away
from a night laced with hormones and choices
so close
so
close
releasing from chores
from duties
from growth
none of that matters
right?
we’re just kids
we never know better
