Lost in thought she sits and stares
In no direction
Just so many cares
Dreaming of sunsets
Oceans of blue
Dreaming of melodies cheerful and new
Disregards all else just sits by herself
Wanders off into space
The look on her face
Is so silent and calming
The thought in her eyes
Just sits and relaxes
Dreams of surprise
When someone calls she never replies
Because when she’s in her own world
Can’t hear the loudest cries
She can’t be distracted
No not moved just one bit
Because the thoughts that she’s thinking
Always seem to fit
People try and they try
But they never can win
It’s as if taking a thought away
Could be a sin
