My Shadow Kiss
In beauty like the night
So rests the shadow kiss;
Hidden behind the veil of the dark,
It glows, my shadow kiss.
In fear, like the wrong.
So rests the shadow kiss;
With squirms, shivers, shudders,
It sighs, my shadow kiss.
In light, like the sun,
So rests the shadow kiss;
Hidden behind the Apollo’s glow,
It darkens, my shadow kiss.
In silence, like the morn,
So rests my shadow kiss;
Hidden behind the flower’s dew,
It celebrates, my shadow kiss.
My shadow is silent,
A celebration of love with love.
My shadow is a dark abode
Living here, under the sun.
My shadow is of love
When hatred casts its own.
My shadow is the touch
Of things unseen but felt.
My shadow is the shadow
Of the life whose light I am.
