Nothing To Look Forwards To
I will see you again today
and you will ignore me
it was brief
you hand on my leg
I smell your sweet shower scent
you brush my hair from my face
and I trace secret messages on your back
it was happy
and laughing
and painful, too
and now
I can cry
because of those stolen hours
you must never know how much I care
now they are gone
those hours
gone
and you will never talk to me again
and I have nothing now
nothing to look forwards to
