This one’s for the stars
The stars that looked down upon them
The moon that shone a light
The night that will always last.
This one’s for the baby
The baby that was created
The parents that were formed
The lives forever changed.
This one’s for the boy
The boy who left his new family
The girl who became a single parent
The boy who will forever hate himself.
This one’s for the girl
The girl who tries not to cry
The angel that holds her together
The girl that won’t let her heart break.
This one’s for you.

This is outstanding!!! It's told like a real story...skipping through the years. I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!!!

Wow, you did an amazing job with this piece. I loved how the story progressed throughout the poem and you really portrayed a great mental image.
