When human ears fail to hear us
And human lips fail to console us
You are there

When human eyes fail to see us
And human hands fail to comfort us
You are there

When human hearts fail to love us
And human minds fail to accept us
You are there

Because you have human ears
And human lips
And human eyes
And human hands

But to us
You have the heart and mind
Of an angel

I wrote this about my mom and one of my teachers. I went through a tough time recently, and I'm still not totaly out of it, but they were both there for me and understood that I needed to be sheltered.
