He looked at her and the glare in her eye,
wondering if what he had done was wrong.
She looked at him with hatred and said …
I really hope she was worth it.
He looked at her with nothing to say but knowing what a great mistake he had made.
She looked at him aware of what he did and thinking nothing could ever be the same.
He looked at her knowing she was better than that girl, feeling a sense of dreadful about
his decision making.

She looked at him but with one thing to say…
I can’t go on living this way.
They looked at each other and walked away.

This wasn’t the love they swore they had.
