Why do I care so much, and ask you about
every detail of your day?
Simply because I miss you.
Why do I want to hear your voice for one second longer
than I get to?
Simply because I miss you.
Why do I constantly drag out our goodbye,
and don't want you to go?
Simply because I'll miss you.
Why do I miss you so much that it hurts my heart
to the point of crying?
Simply because I love you.
