Lies crumpled on my bed.
Messes with my head
Dances with my heart
Gets it drunken from the start
Through it, I see your eyes
What a familiar disguise
Putting me in a dismal, lonely place
Signaling me to never again look back
To see the mistakes
I’ve left and tracked.
