My family is the box you put your memories in.
My daddy is the big strong action figure that would always win the fights.
My mama is the tan doll that everyone thinks is gorgeous, but not as much as Barbie.
My brother Adam is the boxing gloves because he never backs down.
My other brother Zach is the pure white gloves because he lost his life fighting as a Marine.
My sister Patricia is the sports award, because she makes Varsity every time
And myself, I’m the picture of best friends that was torn apart and forgot about.

I do like this poem a lot!  I think it's really interesting how everyone in your family is represented by the items in a box under your bed--like they've been forgotten.  But, the fantastic part is that they haven't been forgotten at all.  You've captured them in this poem.  Bravo!
