Wisps of hair flow in the breeze as nonchalant
Thoughts go with them. The air is tinged with
Cold and the forbidding trees hide their secrets.
A lonely soul walks through, with all fears
Suppressed. A single star serves as a guide as
The vacant mind wanders relentlessly. What’s
Been done is done. When one learns how to
Save a life, they then have that responsibility.
The silver glinting light reflects off the
Stainless weapon, and so shall it remain.
