Lights.
Music raves while fabric
colors fly.
The long, unrelenting catwalk awaits
your emotionless march.
Years of sparing nutrients for the
latest fashions.
Longing for sultry, sweet
significance.
Gauntness has become
practiced religion.

Pressure.
Its weight nearly crushing you as
you take that first step into
the light.
Deep breaths and mimics
From the Ivies take you to
thoughts forging
another path.
Your eyes, wide with white
blindness. Paparazzi like lions
on fresh meat.

Stilettos like skyscrapers, you are
ready to jump but not ready to
fall.
After long, starving days and
innumerable
sleep-deprived nights.
After drug-inhabited,
alcohol-ridden,
malnourished years

collapse.

Your fantastic imagery was really original, and you have an ability to take clichéd concepts like papparazi and glamour and make them your own through your metaphors so that they sound new and interesting. Nice job.

Vividly brilliant. Point, blank period.
