If only you knew.
If only you knew. The way your scent clings to me after we hug. The 1,001 stupid ways that you scare me, and trust me, I always get scared. The times when we talk about the problems of the world, and how those darn republicans keep winning. The way you looked at me after my best friend’s mom’s funeral when tears pricked at my eyes. I watch your brows furrow as you work meticulously on biology homework, always learning, understanding, reaching. The way you act your heart out on that stage, and laugh at all my jokes. But most of all, I love your crazy stories, and how much you care. About the world…the people…
And your girlfriend.
