Drugs and Hearts
Drugs are like hearts
They beat through your chest
But hearts don’t leave marks
Drugs don’t treat you the best
Your first time try
It was just for fun
It caused you to lie
And from all your problems run
This is great
You think a another hit beats
But your heart is late
To beat on time in the heat
Your heart starts to falter
Your eyes start to droop
You fall to the floor in a bloodstained halter
Your stomach stoops
And then you hear your heart stop
Clear as day
Like the veins have been cropped
And you bleed as you lay
Drugs are like hearts
They beat through your chest
But one hit can be the end
Your heart will treat you less
