each falling leaf
every shooting star I see
every four leaf clover
every night at 11:11
on my birthday
when I blow out the candles
every fallen eyelash
I blow into the wind
every coin I toss
into the well
and on the tip of every cresting wave
each strand of my hair
that I let the breeze take
for the nests of the birds
I wish
for one thing
the same thing every time
it's too bad no one's listening
