Little girl of only fifteen
She pulls down her long sleeves
To cover the hurt of all her memories
Her skin covered with the scars that he leaves
Will she ever be free?
Little girl of only fifteen
Her cheeks stained with the tears that his beatings bring
She begs but mercy she will never see
The shadows hide the bruises that mar her once beautiful face
Does anyone hear her cries?
Little girl of only fifteen
Your broken heart He can heal
No more need to cry
Your freedom in His name lies
No longer need to be terrified
He hears your cries
