In the past,
I've been lied to,
cheated and deceived.
In the past,
people told me,
that they loved me,
when they didn't.
In the past,
I yelled at friends,
and friends yelled at me.
In the past,
I did things,
that I'm not proud of.
In the past,
everyone looks backwards,
when they should look forwards.
Instead of looking,
in the past,
you should look ahead,
into the future.
I learned this,
in the past
