Live With Knowing
it’s the same song, same
story; but i’ve got no time for feeling
sorry; lay down the end and the
glory of love, every breath, every emotion
wasted; shattered dreams left in the
wake of your destruction that cuts
me to the core, splitting open to reveal all
the layers of my soul for you to
grab and seize for yourself, leaving me
broken and abandoned; no comfort for me to
cradle myself to dreamless sleep and
wake up all alone; but your
memory still lingers in my most
honest thoughts; a part of me still
aching for a part of you, but i know
endings wait for no one, and this is
over; this is the end, and this
story’s cut in stoe; you’ll have to
live with knowing
