"Oh God, pray Thee, so that I can be beautiful within" - Socrates

One day I shall be gone,

After i had come to live and die.

But how I wish I had been born;

Alas there is but one goodbye.

But you shall still remain, and all will see:

(You) As the remnant of the one;

That withered longing to be free-

Knowing nothing had begun.

I shall have to leave and believe alone,

Let them know that you are mine.

Grace the tale of a star that had lived and gone,

But never got to shine …

There is a child I know of, an unfortunate and much-pained soul...she has thousands of budding talents within her, those which are waiting to bloom and flaunt their beauty...but she is deprived of the opportunities life has to offer, deprived of all facilities...like a star that will never be able to shine...but she keeps a little diary, and pours out the tears of her hearts as unforgettable words on the pages...leaving behind a timeless legacy for the whole world to see and believe - this poem not only depicts the painful verses of what that little girl has to say, but also upholds the gloom that looms over the lives of all the poor, deprived children of the third worlds...
